About Us

Upper Valley Fencing is a family owned and operated business with owner Jorge Ramirez, his daughter Karol Ramirez and his son in law Juan Villa.

Jorge came to Northern Napa County in 1995 with his family. They settled in St. Helena where he worked and learned the construction trade at Blakeley Construction. In 2001, he left the company to work under his own name. Since then, Jorge has grown the company and established it as a go-to for all fencing needs in Northern Napa County and surrounding areas. 

Jorge is the owner and oversees all projects. He has over twenty years of experience as a steel fabricator His daughter, Karol, and son-in-law Juan, came to be part of the team after they graduated from Sonoma State University. Karol earned a BA in Sociology and master's in counseling and handles all the office aspect of the business; she is involved in the community and is happy to be able to live and work in the valley. Juan earned a BA in Environmental Studies and Planning. He manages the company and oversees the fencing crew. Originally from the Bay Area, Juan is ambitious and driven. He thrives on challenge and constantly set goals for himself, so he has something to strive toward. He is not comfortable with settling and is always looking for an opportunity to do better and achieve greatness.
